Geflügel Börseis Germany's premier pigeon related magazine. It started publication way back in the 1800's. While it focuses on most cage birds, and even the occasional non feathered hobby stock, there are always articles on pigeons. The magazine is well known for its excellent articles and photography. Many of the photographs in the magazine started being in color when to format changed to the more standard magazine size with the colored covers. The older newspaper style was in black and white with the larger page size as was common for that format. These older issues are much harder to locate because the paper was not as durable. We have several early hard bound issues though that have been very well preserved, in a large part because they were hard bound. While the binding look is certainly not professional, the quality is. Some are bound as a single year and some cover two years, as noted. These are very large up to 17x13x2.5 inches hand heavy up to 14 pounds so we can not send them for the usual low postage fees. In the US the postage is $10-20 per volume and elsewhere it is $65-90. Postage price per pound drops as weight increases. If more than one is shipped at a time, the actual postage will be lower than that estimated. Please email me to obtain total costs including actual postage. |

Geflügel Börse is Germany's premier pigeon related magazine, started publication way back in the 1800's. While it focuses on most cage birds, and even the occasional non feathered hobby stock, there are always articles, and great photographs of pigeons. The magazine is well known for its excellent articles and photography. Many of the photographs in the magazine started being in color when to format changed to the more standard magazine size with the colored covers, which these newer hard bound sets are composed of. Each year of these professionally bound sets is made up of 2 parts, covering January-December and July through December of each respective year.
